SSPP Find Form at Forest!

Peter and Paul in 4 point haul; Forest and Farm in stalemate.
SS Peter and Paul belatedly began their season on Tuesday evening in Kitts Green and were more than happy to return to Erdington with four points in the bag.
Lea Forest were the hosts and they opened proceedings against a Court Farm side looking to build on their win vs St Bernadette's last time out. Both sides went out for the win and produced a lively encounter but in the end they cancelled each other out in a 1-1 draw. The following game also ended in a draw but those involved, and watching Lea Forest vs SSPP, will wonder quite how such a pulsating, end-to-end game could end goalless - head scratching all round after twenty-five exhilarating minutes.
SSPP then concluded the evening's affairs with a 3-0 win over Court Farm. Farm never really got going and the black and whites took advantage to net the three points.
