P&P Up and Running!

Thursday evening saw SS Peter & Paul spring to life, winning twice for the first time this campaign and sending then to fourth in the table, just three points of leaders, Timberley.

The Black'n'Whites secured back-to-back wins seeing off St Bernadette's, 4-1 and Court Farm, 4-0 - both victories weren't quite as straight forward as the score-lines suggest but P&P were ruthless in front of goal. In the evening's other game at Holly Lane, Court Farm and St Bernadette's played out an entertaining 2-2 draw.

Over in Lea Forest, just the one fixture was completed. Due to an injury to a Highfield player, their match with Lea Forest was abandoned and this then meant their clash with Featherstone was postponed. The one game that did go ahead saw Forest ease to a 6-0 win over Featherstone.

That three points took Lea Forest to second place, just the one point behind Timberley but they do have that Highfield game in hand.
