Title rivals share spoils and top spot. Parkfield stay in hunt with double win.
Honours even at Pencroft Road on Thursday evening as Brownmead and Harper Bell both beat Colebourne (2-0 and 1-0 respectively) and took a point each in a thrilling 2-2 draw. Both sides joined previous leaders Oval on 13 points with 'mead ahead on goal difference in an incredibly concertinaed table.
Parkfield's double salvo at Timberley, where they beat Paget 3-1 and Thornton 2-1, moved the Alum Rockers to within a point of the top triplets. In the evening's other game, Paget defeated Thornton by 4 goals to 2 to keep their hopes of a play-off berth alive.
In a division that is really wide open, anyone from Rosary, in eighth place, up, can still make the top two and like its ESPSFA counterpart division, 'La Liga', the season is turning into an unpredictable and incredibly exciting one. Here's to next week!
