Spring Lane win puts Bernies top.
Following a thrilling action-packed game at Spring Lane on Tuesday, St Bernadette's jumped back above Lea Forest to regain top spot of a highly congested Corporate Clothing league. The Hobmoor Road side won an exhilarating battle, 5-3 and in the process dented SS Peter & Paul's own title and play-off ambitions. Bernies lead the table by 2 points over Lea Forest, with Timberley, 3rd, s further point back but with a game in hand. Audley and SS P & P remain in the hunt for a top two finish but with only a couple of games left to play face an uphill task. Heathlands - if they can fit in all their remaining games - will pose a threat as they have 3 games in hand on the leaders despite arrears of 7 points.
