Abbey began the run in to the end of the season with a comfortable 4-0 win over St Barnabas at Spring Lane on Tuesday afternoon. The match was Abbey's 'game in hand' on leaders Lyndon Green and the three points secured by the Amber and Blacks was enough to elevate them to pole position. Abbey are now level on 12 points with Lyndon Green but went top courtesy of a three-goal better goal difference. Both Abbey and Lyndon Green have now played four games each as have Short Heath who sit three points behind in third place.
