LG BAXI CHAMPS!

2 games - 14 goals - Greens seal divisional title. Mead double up as Coles revel in rare win.

Lyndon Green took the Baxi Boilers Division title in awesome style at Wensley Road on Thursday evening. They dismantled The Oval 9-0 and dispatched Highfield 5-0, both in spectacular style. In doing so, The Greens advance to the play-off finals night as Baxi Champs; they finished on the same points as Rosary but have a far superior goal difference. The Wensley Roaders then, have sent out a statement of intent and will be a ferocious force come those play-off finals.
Over at Brownmead, the hosts made hay in the sunshine with back-to-back 3-1 wins over Colebourne and Blakesley Hall. Mead, in excellent end-of-season form, are now up to 4th and have a realistic chance of nicking 3rd spot from current incumbents, Abbey. In the afternoon's other game at Pencroft Road, Colebourne notched only their second win of the season. Sticking to the 3-1 theme they stuck it to luckless Blakesley and jumped ahead of Hall in the table. The Coles lie sixth and their campaign with 6 points from their allotted 9 games.
