Following on from their league title win and subsequent victory in the girls tournament last week, Timberley completed a treble trophy haul in three incredible weeks. Audley 'B' were the team to lose out this time in a one-sided final which saw Timberley run out 4-1 winners.
The group stages of the tournament hammered away through downpour after downpour and Audley B were impressive in their group and quarter final to breeze into the semis, where they won a tight contest against a gallant Rosary side, 3-1.
The other semi final was a much tighter affair as Timberley and Lyndon Green locked horns once again. And neither disappointed. Lyn Green had romped through their group and quarter final to set up the showdown. After a pulsating game ended 2 a-piece (after extra time) The Timbers won a nail-biting, sudden death, penalty shoot-out to once again get the better of the Wensley Roaders; Timberley's current hoodoo over Lyn Green continues.
So there ends a magnificent season, thanks to all who helped out and we'll do it all again in September!
