Thursday evening saw SS Peter and Paul and Timberley move a step closer to the play-offs following 10-0 and 3-1 wins, respectively.
At Holly Lane, SSPP eased past a Colebourne side, who despite the onslaught, fought valiantly and kept on going right to the final whistle.
Over in Shard End, Timberley were having a much tougher game against a lively and spirited Parkfield side. However, the Timbers eventually shrugged off their dogged opponents to take another important three points.
Those results mean that two out of four schools - SSPP, Timberley St Thomas More and Corpus Christi - can make the play-offs but both STM and Corpus will have to win all three of their remaining games and hope that SSPP lose both of their remaining games or Timberley lose their last match - still so much to play for in the last two weeks of the regular season.
