Rosary to second after 6 point 'Derby' haul. Parkfield take 3 points off Highfield.
The Rosary took maximum points with 'Derby' victories over Highfield and Parkfield to earn the crown, 'Kings of Alum Rock'. Trailing 1-0 against Highfield, The Light Blues hit back to nick a 2-1 win. They then backed it up with an impressive 3-0 win over neighbours Parkfield.
In the afternoon's opening game, Parkfield also enjoyed a 3-0 victory over Highfield. Their win was sealed late on courtsey of a stunning right-footed volley.
The six points gained by The Rosary takes them to the lofty heights of second, displacing Timberley. The Timbers however are just the single point behind and have four games in hand. Parkfield remain in sixth place and Highfield in fourteenth.
