Thursday afternoon saw just the one game in the Premier division with Court Farm venturing over from Erdington to the Heathway to take on a Heathlands side only just opening their campaign.
And it was Heathlands who started the brighter, taking an early lead and dominating proceedings. However, Court Farm held on and began to capitalise on tired Heathlands legs, scoring three quick- fire goals before the interval.
The second half was a tight affair with both teams trying to add to their tallies, however, strong defensive displays on both sides resulted in a goalless second half and thus a first win of the season for Farm and their first in the ESPSFA.
