Brownmead double boosts Alum Rockers.
Heathlands double up too - at Yardley.
Parkfield completed a busy week of football with a 6 point sweep at Brownmead on Thursday. The Alum Rock side defeated homebirds Brownmead 2-0 and edged out Yenton 1-0. These victories shot Parkfield up to 5th in the league, 6 points off leaders St Bernadette's but with two games in hand. Also on Thursday, over at Yardley, it was Heathlands who emerged with 6 points of their own. The Heathway outfit narrowly defeated both Blakesley Hall (2-1) and hosts Yardley (1-0). Heathlands are now up to 8th in the table and according to reports their players were a real crediot to their school. Yardley's winless run continued but at least they managed a point in a dramatic game vs Blakesley Hall. A fantastic last minute goal salavged a 2-all draw and left Blakelsey deflated.
