Bernies win at Yardley; 6-goal Timberley jump to second; Parkfield win again to go third.
St Bernadette's extended their lead at the top of the league to 5 points with a 4-2 Tuesday afternoon win at Yardley. Bernies head the table but are being hunted down by a host of clubs including Timberley who, following a 6-0 thumping of Blakesly Hall on Monday, find themselves in second spot now with 5 games in hand. In the process, the Shard End club kept their 100% winning run in tact. Parkfield returned to winning ways with a 2-1 away win at Yardley on Tuesday. Parkfield leap to third in the league a point behind Timberley. Sadly for Yardley, the two defeats mean that the search for an illusive first win continues.
