Paget are La Liga champions having won their final game of the season on a gloriously sunny spring afternoon on Tuesday.
Travelling across to the always resplendent Mapledene Arena, The P's knew that any sort of win would clinch the title and deny Short Heath a second consecutive La Liga crown.
A steely Paget arrived determined not to waste such an opportunity and faced a Mapledene side for whom play-off hopes had been dashed by Rosary earlier this month. Despite a cagey opening, the P's eventually sauntered their way to a 4-1 victory and the three points required.
In another brilliant La Liga title race, Paget take win the day courtesy of a 20 goal better difference than their erstwhile foes, Short Heath thus reversing the La Liga placings from a year ago.
Paget and Premier champs, Abbey, have now sealed their places at Castle Vale Stadium for the season-defining play-offs finals on 21st May but Short Heath will have to defeat Timberley next week if they are join in that jamboree.
