Paget slam down title marker; Stone go second; Featherstone net win.
Tuesday afternoon saw Paget heighten their title credentials at a sunny Brownmead as they defeated the hosts, 4-0, and fellow visitors, Featherstone, 2-0. The six-point haul catapulted the Pype Hayes outfit right into the title mix among a throng of heavyweights all vying for glory come the end of May. In the afternoon's other fixture, Featherstone recorded a second win of the season as they beat a below-par Brownmead, 4-1.
Across in Erdington, Hillstone were quietly going about their business but were made to work hard for their 1-0 win by a dogged and determined St Barnabas side who kept the title-chasing Hillstone honest right to the end.
