Heath Tumble Timbers to Reach Finals!

Short Heath joined Paget and Abbey in the play-off finals at Castle Vale Stadium on 21st May.

A one nil win courtesy of a penalty in the play-off eliminator against Timberley at the Timber’s Bradley Road home on Wednesday afternoon was enough to ensure the reigning ESPSFA champions have a chance at retaining their title in two weeks’ time. The game was tense throughout and extra-time was required with the two teams goalless after 30 minutes but that spot-kick proved to be the decisive moment.

The remaining finals place will go to either St Thomas More or Lyndon Green, the two meet at Timberley tomorrow afternoon.
