Foresters Top But Title Race Wide Open!

Heathlands in mix after 6 point yield.

Following Tuesday's action at Lea Forest, The Foresters sit atop the pile in an incredibly congested Corporate Clothing division. Alston were the unlucky side as they suffered back to back defeats to Forest, 3-1, and Heathlands 6-1. The tussle between title challengers Forest and Heath was settled by just one goal. A single slip handed the points to the Heathway side that won a tight contest 1-0 and sealed a maximum points hoard for the evening.
Meanwhile over at Timberley, the champions were held to a 2-2 draw by Audley, who themselves beat Parkfield, 4-3. Timberley did however grab 3 points off 'Field courtesy of a 3-1 victory.
So to the table and with little or no room to breathe , Lea Forest lead the way on 12 points from 6 games, but are only 1 point ahead of both Bernies and Timbers. A mere 5 points separate Forest from 6th-placed Heathlands who themselves have 3 games in hand on the Kitts Green pace-setters. And with P&P and Audley still very much with their hats in the ring, we are set for an incredibly exciting April as the battle for divisional champions, and those two vital play-off spots, reaches boiling point.
