Abbey are the Premier Division champions after defeating both Timberley and Corpus Christi on a sun-drenched afternoon in Shard End.
Going into this round of fixtures - the last of the season for both hosts, Timberley and visitors, Abbey - both were in with a chance of winning the title. St Thomas More's lead the way before a ball was kicked at Bradley Road having finished their season on 25 points, but for them stay on top they had to hope Abbey lost both of their games and that Corpus beat Timberley as well.
Abbey though ensured this wouldn't happen and would leave with all six points. A 4-0 win over Corpus Christi and, in an epic tussle with Timberley, an eventual 1-0 win saw them Premier champions for 2024-25.
Abbey then are guaranteed a place in the ESPSFA League Play-off Finals on Wednesday 21st May at Castle Vale Stadium whilst St Thomas More, who finished second and Timberley, third, will have play-off elimination matches early next month.
