Abbey - Kings of La Liga!

Victory over Brookfields seals divisional title. League play-offs confirmed.
On a glorious, sunny afternoon at the Mapledene Arena, a 6-2 victory over Brookfields landed the La Liga title for Abbey, and, just as Brownmead have done in the Premier division, Abbey went unbeaten in their league campaign. Brookfields put up a gallant fight in the sunshine, but Abbey's firepower proved too hot for the Hockleysiders to handle, and in the end, Abbey ran out comfortable winners.
In the division's other game on Tuesday - and final one of the season - Lea Forest completed their season with a 3-0 win at Waverley.
With winners and runners-up in both La Liga and Premier divisions now confirmed, the play-offs now read as follows:
Brownmead vs SS Peter & Paul
Abbey vs Harper Bell
The winners of both games will then meet to decide an overall ESPSFA champion for this season. The games will be played on Thursday 15th June at Brownmead Academy, Shard End.
