Barnie's defeat of Bernie's confirms Heath's title.
Prior to kick-off at St Barnabas on Wednesday afternoon, Short Heath had 'all but' won the La Liga title with visitors St Bernadette's needing to win by 29 clear goals to catch the Heathens and they came nowhere near to doing so.
St Barnabas coming off a great 3-1 win at Yardley on Tuesday, defeated a lackluster St Bernadette's side, who, according to their boss Mr M-J, "Were on the beach." They will need to get those flip-flops off for the play-offs!
As for Short Heath, they can now officially celebrate their title and can prepare for the League play-off finals on 21st June - congratulations to them.
Paget, as runners-up and St Bernadette's in third place, will face two of either SS Peter and Paul, Timberley or St Thomas More in the semi-final play off game after half-term.
