Lyndon Green now top the table after hard-fought, back-to-back, 1-0 wins over The Oval and Highfield.
Timberley maintained close order with an emphatic 4-1 win over Heathlands. The two sidea are divided by a single point, with LG and The Timbers having played the same amount of games. June will be the deciding month.
St Bernadette's and Lea Forest look like they will have to settle for a battle for 3rd spot. Bernies lead that race after they recorded an impressive 4-0 win at the usually defensively tight Brownmead. Lea Forest were awarded a 4-0 walkover win as Audley failed to attend their scheduled game at Ridpool Road.
In the night's other games The Oval, playing admiral hosts on the afternoon, beat Highfield 3-2 and Heathlands drew 1-1 with Parkfield.
