Rosary travelled to deepest Sheldon on Thursday and returned to Alum Rock with 6 points. In a tight, tough contest with Mapledene, Rosary edged the home side out,2-1. Following on from that victory, they defeated a never-say-die Blakesley Hall side, 4-3, in pulsating encounter that ebbed and flowed throughout. In the night's final game, Mapledene ran in 2-0 winners over tiring Blakesley.
On the same evening, over in Shard End, Lyndon Green flexed their title muscles with an impressive 5-0 win over hosts, Brownmead.
