Foresters Fell Timbers!

By Joe Perkins

High drama as Timberlery's unbeaten run ends at Lea Forest.

On a dramatic afternoon on Tuesday, Lea Forest hoisted themselves to fourth in the league with a gripping 2-1 win over leaders Timberley. The single-goal winning margin ended Timberley's 100% record and opened the door to title challengers Lyndon Green, St Bernadette's and Lea Forest themselves.
Timberley did however come out of the afternoon with 3 points as they defeated Parkfield 4-1. In the day's other game, The Foresters were involved in another cliffhanger as they came from 2-0 down to grab a 3-3 point against Parkfield.
